Classification and Introduction of Packaging Machinery
author:kefu time:2014-08-09The packaging process includes main processes such as filling, wrapping, and sealing, as well as related pre - and post processes such as cleaning, stacking, and disassembly. In addition, packaging also includes processes such as measuring or stamping on the packaging. The use of mechanical packaging products can improve efficiency, reduce labor intensity, adapt to large-scale needs, and meet the requirements of cleanliness and hygiene.
There are various classification methods for packaging machinery. According to function, it can be divided into single function packaging machines and multifunctional packaging machines; According to the purpose of use, it can be divided into inner packaging machines and outer packaging machines; According to packaging varieties, it can be divided into specialized packaging machines and general packaging machines; According to the level of automation, it can be divided into semi-automatic and fully automatic machines.
The molding filling sealing packaging machine is a multifunctional packaging machine. After the material enters the top of the packaging machine, the measuring part will sequentially send the predetermined quantity of products into the material channel. When the roll packaging material passes through the outer wall of the material channel, it is wound into a cylindrical shape by the former, and the longitudinal sealer seals it firmly by longitudinal seam welding. The horizontal sealer completes the top seal of the packaging bag and the bottom seal of the next bag, forming two weld seams. As the feeding channel is wrapped in the packaging bag, the bottom seal can be directly fed into the bag after welding. Then, a workstation is moved to complete the top seal and cut with a cutting knife to complete the packaging process.
Roll packaging materials come in both single-layer and composite forms. Single layer materials such as moisture-proof glass paper, polyethylene, polypropylene, high-density polyethylene, and composite materials such as stretched polypropylene/polyethylene, polyethylene/glass paper/aluminum foil. In addition, there are materials that can be heat sealed. The packaging sealing types include pillow sealing, three side sealing, and four side sealing. The packaging machine is used for product sales packaging.
A box packing machine is a mechanical device used for product sales packaging. It loads a measured amount of material into a box and closes or seals the opening of the box. The packing machine is used to complete transportation packaging. It arranges and quantifies the packaged products into boxes in a certain way, and closes or seals the opening of the boxes. Both boxing machines and container packing machines have functions such as container forming (or opening), measuring, loading, and sealing.
The typical process is as follows: the filling machine positions the hose container, seals the tail end of the container after measuring and filling, and then sends it to the boxing machine. The box packing machine first shapes the box blank, wraps the hose with lining paper, and then pushes it into the box to close the box mouth. The small boxes are transported by the conveying device to be stacked in the box packing machine. After stacking the predetermined quantity, the large box blank is wrapped to form a container, while the small box is loaded into it and sealed with glue. The large boxes are transported to the packing machine for stacking, and after reaching the predetermined quantity, they are loaded into open boxes. After packing, the box cover is sealed with glue by a sealing and pasting machine, and tape or tie the box firmly at the joint of the cover tongue.
Liquid filling machines can be divided into atmospheric pressure filling machines, pressure filling machines, and vacuum filling machines according to the filling principle.
The atmospheric pressure filling machine is used to fill the liquid by its own weight under atmospheric pressure. This type of filling machine is divided into two types: timed filling and fixed volume filling, and is only suitable for filling low viscosity, gas free liquids such as milk, wine, etc.
Pressure filling machine is used for filling at pressures higher than atmospheric pressure, and can also be divided into two types: one is to fill the liquid by the pressure in the storage tank being equal to the pressure in the bottle, and filling it by the weight of the liquid flowing into the bottle, which is called isobaric filling; Another method is that the pressure in the storage tank is higher than the pressure in the bottle, and the liquid flows into the bottle through the pressure difference. This method is commonly used in high-speed lines. The flattening paper delivery machine and pressure filling machine are suitable for filling liquids containing gases, such as beer, soda, champagne, etc.
A vacuum filling machine is used to fill bottles at a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure. This filling machine has a simple structure, high efficiency, and a wide range of adaptability to the viscosity of materials, such as oils, syrups, fruit wine, etc.
The general process is as follows: boxes containing empty bottles are stacked on pallets and transported by a conveyor belt to a pallet unloading machine. The pallets are unloaded one by one, and the boxes are transported by the conveyor belt to the unloading machine to remove the empty bottles from the boxes. The empty boxes are then transported by the conveyor belt to the washing machine, cleaned, and then transported to the packaging machine for loading bottles containing beverages.
The empty bottles taken out from the unloading machine are sent to the bottle washing machine for disinfection and cleaning by another conveyor belt. After being inspected by the bottle inspection machine and meeting the cleaning standards, they enter the filling machine and capping machine. Beverages are filled into bottles by a filling machine. The bottles filled with beverages are sealed by a capping machine and transported to a labeling machine for labeling. After labeling, they are sent to a packing machine to be loaded into boxes, and then to a pallet stacking machine to be stacked on pallets and sent to the warehouse.
The process of filling bottles for various beverages on the assembly line is basically similar. However, due to the different properties of beverages, the filling machines and capping machines used are also different. For example, in addition to selecting suitable filling and capping machines, a sterilization machine is also added to the beer filling assembly line. The capping machine is selected according to the different types of caps used (such as crown caps, screw caps, plug caps, etc.).
