The working principle of the book binding machine


The book fore-edge creaser is a device used for creasing the edges of book covers. Its working principle mainly involves the following steps:

Feeding and positioning: Place the books that have been collated and glued on the output conveyor platform. The book pusher will convey the books forward at equal intervals, ensuring they maintain the correct position.

Automatically unfolding the cover: The device will automatically unfold the cover of the book to prepare for subsequent processing.

Cutting the front edge: Cut the front edge of the book according to the preset size, which refers to the part of the cover that needs to be folded. The cutting device achieves precise cutting through a hydraulic system.

Cover folding: Fold the cut cover along the crease lines to create a flap effect.

Collection and output: The processed books are conveyed to the collection table, completing the entire binding process.

Modern booklet binding machines are also equipped with lighting systems, facilitating operation of the control panel in dimly lit environments.
